Alexander McQueen was something of a tragic genius – creating breathtaking works of art through
fashion: “For me, what I do is an artistic expression which is channeled through me. Fashion is just
the medium.” His untimely death last year was a devastation to the fashion world as we will never
again be able to experience new McQueen masterpieces. Now, however, his best works are being
displayed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art until August. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to see
