Music Monday: Keys N Krates

Monday. Not the most pleasant day of the week for most of us.

But it doesn’t have to be that way…

A little upbeat, hype soundtrack kicks those Monday Blues right to the curb.

My mix of choice?

Nothing gets me hype for the week like Keys N Krates. Keep this in heavy rotation for some major motivation.

McQueen

I was rushing through the Delta terminal at JFK when this stopped me dead in my tracks…

I knew this dress was going to be major, historical even …but I didn’t know it was going to be so controversial!

Apparently the CFDA is not too pleased with Mrs. O’s choice of McQueen, but we can’t help but swoon…

Where are all my iNerds at?

Ever since I received my new iPad for the holidays (thanks boss lady!) I have not been able to put it down.

If you don’t already have one, shame on you, but here’s somethign that might make you run to your nearest apple store.

Introducing iFontMaker allowing you to create 100% original hand typeface in under 5 minutes.

Customize emails, documents, invitations, blogs…the list is endless.

Music Mondays: Beyoncé – Why Don’t You Love Me

In the third grade I wrote a report on the 1950′s. Although wildly comprehensive for an eight year old, I of course chose to focus my report on the groundbreaking advancements in fashion that would set the tone of the industry for decades to come.
In her ninth video from her 2008 album, I Am…Sasha Fierce, Beyoncé chooses to do the same.
In a nod to classic American television the style of this video makes me nostalgic for the days of Betty Draper, martinis, and lingerie as acceptable house clothes.

Enjoy!

Vogue on Vogue

Vogue magazine has long been considered a beacon of the fashion industry. Each issue is a painstakingly crafted work of art shipped out to devoted followers across the world. The Vogues of other countries have always piqued my interest, as they say so much about a countries sense of style and sense of self.

Check out the images below for an artistic interpretation of how your favorite country shows it’s cover style.

Sneaking Spring In.

Not ready to pull off the full spring looks? Use belts! Don’t be afraid to take belts or waist sashes from bright dresses and wear them with Fall/Winter dresses or blouses to show your love of color!

Inspired from Jil Sander’s Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, we paired this Dolce Vita Fir Dress $180/ Sale $135 with two silk belts from different summer dresses.

Treat of the Week: Stoned Shoulder Dress! xoxo~

Weekend Wish List

By Sunday morning I’d like the following things in my bed…thenx! Xoxo

100 Legendary Trunks

One of the most iconic fashion houses in the world has released a book based on their most coveted accessory: The Louis Vuitton Trunk.

You can purchase the book here, but I’d really like to know how I can get this one.

Rainbow Pancakes

Sunday morning = Pancakes and these fancy ones are exactly what I’d love to wake up to!

This Guy

Or fav handbag designer releases her new men’s collection with some drool worthy unisex pieces mixed in.

New Arrivals…MINNETONKA

Get them at your fav Project Store now!

FIERCE…

…and I don’t even use that word!

But ever since I laid eyes on these bad boys I’ve  been in major lust mode.

Here’s why: at first glance these may seem like the ultimate winter ankle boot. And they are.

Yet I can’t help but imaginestyle, (my word for imaginary styling), them with Spring/Summer ’11 trends.

With lace? Yes.

With wide leg pants? Yes.

With my swim wear? Hell Yes.
